Whoo-hoo! The RadiantGame Team is now in your city Toledo, Ohio!
Huntington Center is about to be 🔥 tonight, with a stacked lineup of epic matches: Ilja Dragunov will look for revenge on Bron Breakker after what he did to his fallen friend Ricochet, Damian Priest and The Judgment Day will likely continue their war with LWO and Braun Strowman, and of course, Liv Morgan’s Revenge Tour (and her strange flirting with Dirty Dom) rolls on. Meanwhile, Drew McIntyre, after being slammed through a table, will probably try to blame the entire locker room—like he always does. But hey, we could keep guessing all night… or we could jump straight into the action! Let’s watch the show. 🎬
Drew McIntyre has a good chance to secure his Clash at the Castle match
The show kicked off with the Scottish Warrior, Drew McIntyre. And did anyone else notice he's no longer carrying his sword, Angela? Maybe that’s his real problem—he was far more successful when Angela was by his side. Could the sword be the secret to his strength? Who knows. 🤷♂️
Tonight, Drew tried to convince us that he’s focused on Damian Priest, not CM Punk. But the World Heavyweight Champion wasn’t about to stay quiet. El Campeón hit the ring with the entire Judgment Day in tow, face-to-face with the man he might face in Glasgow.
Priest made some excellent points, reminding Drew that he doesn’t need Judgment Day to beat him. Do I believe that? Maybe. Priest can fight on his own… but having backup never hurts, right?
Then came the big stipulation: if Drew beats Finn Bálor tonight, Judgment Day will be banned from ringside at Clash at the Castle. But if he loses? They’ll be there, front row, to watch Priest put him down. I don’t think Finn was too thrilled about being tossed into that situation—but like it or not, he’s got his orders. 👑
Iyo Sky vs Lyra Valkyria
In recent weeks, Iyo Sky’s been acting like an unhinged storm—crying backstage, smashing things, and generally losing it. Last week, she finally snapped and attacked Lyra Valkyria behind the scenes, which set up this Queen of the Ring tournament rematch tonight.
Honestly, I thought Iyo had this match in the bag. She came out furious, launching into a wild offensive storm. But Valkyria fought back with sharp kicks and locked in a clever submission, showing that she’s grown since their first bout.
As the match went on, Lyra looked far more confident, stringing together combos and pushing Sky to the limit. Iyo missed her signature moonsault, and Lyra nearly landed the Nightwing, going for another surprise roll-up just like last time—but this time, Iyo was ready.
Lyra finally hit Nightwing on the second try… but Dakota Kai broke up the pin! 😠 I was really hoping Sky would win clean, but that interference ruined it. Still, she hit a meteora in the corner followed by the moonsault, but Lyra got the knees up, nailed a tornado DDT, and went for another Nightwing. Sky barely escaped and rolled her up—returning the favor from their first match.
Now they’re 1–1, and it’s getting personal. After the match, Damage CTRL ganged up on Lyra, but out of nowhere, Kayden Carter and Katana Chance showed up to help her out. Why? Who knows—but one thing’s clear: this feud is just getting started. ⚡
LWO & Braun Strowman vs The Judgment Day
A big-time rematch from last week, where The Monster of All Monsters teams up with the LWO to face Judgment Day’s Carlito, Dominik Mysterio, and JD McDonagh. On paper, the good guys looked to have the upper hand—but with Judgment Day's sneaky minds, you can never rule out some shady tactics. Plus, we can't ignore the wildcards like Finn, Priest, and Liv Morgan, all potential distractions for Rey and his crew. I was pretty sure Liv would attack Zelina Vega or pull off some “romantic protection plan” for her Dirty Dom. And, yeah, I was absolutely right—Liv was involved 100%. 💯
Raw 10.06.2024 - Rey never passes up a chance to lay the smackdown on his kid!
The match opened with Braun Strowman manhandling the ring, and to be fair, only Carlito had the guts to square up. Honestly, Braun looked like he could’ve destroyed the entire Judgment Day alone. (Also, shoutout to Michael Cole for mistakenly calling Rey Mysterio “Dragon Lee”—a slip-up or a hint that Lee might carry the Mysterio legacy into the future?)
With Braun temporarily out of the picture, Judgment Day took over, cycling fast tags and wearing down Rey and Lee. Poor Rey even started bleeding after a brutal hit—these guys weren't holding back. JD and Dominik were working like a unit, smartly keeping Braun out of the ring while punishing the legend.
Then came the chaos: Liv Morgan jumped onto the apron to distract Dominik, but Zelina Vega attacked Liv from behind, sending her flying—right onto Dom, in a very “cozy” position. Liv seemed way too happy about that 😏. Sadly, that beautiful moment was short-lived as both teams pulled their women apart.
Raw 10.06.2024 - One point on the scoreboard tonight for LWO and the Monster Among Men.
That gave Braun the tag, and you know what that means—TRAIN MODE around the ring! One brutal powerslam, followed by a splash from Dragon Lee off Strowman’s shoulders, and that was it. LWO and Braun picked up a massive win, while Judgment Day’s aura of dominance continues to crumble. 💣
Sami Zayn (C) vs Otis
Last week, Chad Gable stirred the pot again, manipulating Otis into thinking Sami was responsible for Maxxine’s fall from the apron. Tonight backstage, Zayn tried once again to talk sense into Alpha Academy. He delivered another inspiring speech, trying to pull them away from Gable’s control.
Even Otis admitted he wasn’t proud of what he did last week, but he defended his actions, saying he was protecting his family—Akira, Maxxine, and even Gable, who helped him when he lost everything: his friend Taker, his Money in the Bank contract, and his career momentum. He wants to think for himself… but he still can’t betray Gable. And that’s the problem. Gable keeps using Otis’ big heart to manipulate him.
I’m seriously hoping that at Clash at the Castle, Otis will finally wake up and break free. But for now, we got a solid match between the Intercontinental Champion and Alpha Academy’s top student.
Zayn promised he’d finish his story with Gable at Clash and put an end to his mind games. But Gable claims everyone in Alpha Academy is happy—while Sami continues fighting for their freedom. This isn’t just a match—it’s a war for souls. And as expected, Otis dominated early, with Gable at ringside constantly urging him to injure Sami as badly as possible before the big showdown.
But once again, Gable distracted Otis at the worst moment, opening the door for Sami to land a Helluva Kick and score the win. Zayn retains. But just like the last three weeks, Gable attacked Sami from behind again, and once again, he slapped Otis—which triggered him to slam Zayn with the World’s Strongest Slam.
And for a moment… Otis almost turned on Gable, getting in his face and making Gable visibly nervous. But he stopped short. Man, it hurts watching Sami get destroyed week after week, but I’m praying it leads to something bigger in Glasgow. 🧨
Zoey Stark & Shayna Baszler vs The Unholy Union
This match was set up to shake things up ahead of the Triple Threat Tag Title Match at Clash at the Castle, but for me, it was a total letdown.
Honestly, I’ve seen plenty of Zoey and Shayna lately, so I was hoping Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre would finally show us something special tonight. Isla opened strong, smartly targeting Baszler’s injured knee, and for a second, it looked promising.
But one slip-up changed everything. Shayna and Zoey took control, and Baszler snapped Alba’s arm in brutal fashion. From that moment on, Fyre couldn’t do anything, completely overwhelmed by Shayna’s submission game.
Stark had to physically pull Shayna off to keep her from choking Alba unconscious. Total domination. Disappointing. The Unholy Union showed absolutely nothing but weakness. I expected more. Way more. 😒
Ilja Dragunov vs Bron Breakker
The match I was looking forward to the most tonight. The Mad Dragon vs. the Badass—a brutal showdown that promised fireworks. I expected Ilja to win, but this wasn’t going to be easy for the Russian warrior.
The bout kicked off with zero love lost—just pure, stiff, sadistic offense from Dragunov and heavy, aggressive replies from Breakker. Violence at its finest, and I absolutely loved every second. Eventually, Breakker used his size and power to take control, but Ilja answered with vicious kicks and lariats, slowing down the Big Dog.
A perfectly executed Constantin Special dropped Breakker and opened the door for Dragunov to keep the pressure on. A flurry of brutal German suplexes left Bron reeling, but the worst came when Ilja launched him into the turnbuckle pads with sickening force. I swear Bron’s neck is going to remember that for a very long time.
Then came the coast-to-coast dropkick and a top-rope senton bomb—but the beast Breakker still kicked out! When he tried to take Ilja’s head off with a clothesline, Dragunov countered with a flying knee and the H-Bomb to the face. Sadly, Ilja’s damaged neck slowed him down, preventing a timely pin.
Outside the ring, Ilja hit a Sparta kick, sending Breakker into the commentary table, but Bron blocked the suplex and rammed Dragunov into the steel barricade and ring post. The end looked near when Breakker speared Ilja in the ribs—but the Mad Dragon rolled out just in time. Or so we thought...
Breakker speared him again outside—and then hit a third Spear in the ring to pick up the win. 💔 Incredible match. Painful loss for Dragunov. After the bell, Breakker tried to end Ilja for good, but Ricochet ran in and saved him, as promised earlier in the night. Some heroic teamwork—respect!
Tag Team Championship Match: Awesome Truth (C) vs AOP
Getting a title shot on Raw these days is apparently as simple as tricking R-Truth. And that’s exactly what the Final Testament did. Tonight, they got themselves a tag title match, and The Miz was definitely NOT happy about it. Once again, Truth made a decision without telling his partner.
With the numbers game on the challengers’ side, things looked grim. But Truth had his Cena cosplay game on point, hitting a full John Cena combo, only to be interrupted by Scarlett and Kross before he could hit the double Five Knuckle Shuffle.
Luckily, The New Day ran in to help even the odds! Amid the chaos, Truth smashed Akam with the belt, and Miz took advantage with a quick roll-up for the win! 🌀 Still champs, somehow.
Final Testament may have jumped the gun—before going after titles, they better settle things with New Day first.
Path of Destruction: Bron Breakker
Backstage, Ricochet tried to help Dragunov to the medics—but Breakker wasn’t finished. He speared Ilja out of his boots, then grabbed Ricochet and hurled him into a wall, finishing it off with a powerslam through a car windshield. 😱
Bron Breakker isn’t here to play games—he’s here to annihilate. Both Ricochet and Ilja were sent to the hospital. Samantha Irvin looked devastated and rushed to the medical facility with her husband. This... got way too personal.
Drew McIntyre vs Finn Bálor
Backstage, the Scottish Warrior received a warm show of support from his old friend, the Celtic Warrior himself—Sheamus. He's the only one left who truly backs Drew and wants to see him succeed. Sheamus even announced that if he wins the Money in the Bank contract, he’ll cash it in only on McIntyre—man to man, in what he promises will be a “banger after banger.” Respect between warriors. That gave Drew a boost of confidence heading into tonight’s battle against The Judgment Day’s Finn Bálor.
This match held serious stakes—if Drew wins, Judgment Day is banned from ringside at Clash at the Castle. With Samantha Irvin at the hospital, Pat McAfee stepped in on commentary, and I gotta say—he nailed it. Great energy.
The match began well for Finn. He used his speed and slick offense to wear down the big man and targeted Drew’s damaged arm, minimizing the risk of those explosive power moves. Bálor looked locked in tonight—fast, clever, and vicious.
Outside the ring, though, Drew launched the Prince with a belly-to-belly suplex over the commentary table—a brutal landing! But even after that, Bálor stayed in control, pulling out some new submissions and keeping Drew off balance. I especially loved how Finn countered a Claymore with the Sling Blade, then followed up with two Shotgun Dropkicks, never taking pressure off that injured arm.
But the Glasgow Kiss headbutt finally shut Bálor down, and after a Future Shock DDT, McIntyre was ready to finish things.
Right on cue, here came the wolves—Judgment Day showed up and surrounded the ring. But Drew wasn't having it. He fought them all off, clearing house, and when Finn tried one last Coup de Grâce, he missed badly—and that’s when Drew struck with a devastating Claymore for the win! 💥
Now it’s official: Judgment Day is banned from ringside at Clash at the Castle! This battle will be fair, clean, and personal.
Final Thoughts
What a hell of a show we got tonight, right?! I was seriously into two matches in particular—Ilja vs. Breakker made a huge statement, and the main event had all the heat I wanted to see. Let’s take a closer look at where things stand now and what might be coming soon:
🌀 Is IYO Back on the Right Path?
Not a bad match at all. For the first time, I was truly impressed by Lyra's offense, and IYO SKY reminded us why she's such a tough, dangerous competitor. What I seriously don’t like is the fact that, without Damage CTRL, IYO might’ve lost clean tonight—and this time it wouldn’t have been some accidental roll-up like before. The power of the group lies in its numbers, and Damage CTRL plays that card perfectly.
Sure, Valkyria has backup now, but Katana and Kayden don’t exactly scream “game-changers.” Still, it’s nice to see them back in the mix. Let’s see if this alliance goes anywhere...
☠️ Judgment Day in Deep Trouble
With Braun Strowman aligning with LWO, the Judgment Day’s iron grip over Raw might finally be slipping. Even with their numbers, Braun alone could bulldoze half the crew. Now imagine if he got backup from Rey Mysterio or Dragon Lee... yikes.
And then there’s Liv Morgan, still lurking on her "Revenge Tour." What happens if she sets her sights back on Dominik and starts tearing at Judgment Day from the inside? Finn and Priest better start game-planning—fast.
Raw 10.06.2024 - Looks like Liv Morgan once again couldn’t stay away from her new guy’s match!
😓 Is Sami Getting Tired of Saving Alpha Academy?
Three weeks in a row, our Intercontinental Champion has been left battered by Gable and his goons. Sure, Maxxine, Otis, and Tozawa don’t love it, but they’re still there every time Sami gets jumped. Even when he wins, he ends up flat on the floor. That’s not sustainable.
Will Otis be the wild card at Clash at the Castle? Maybe he finally snaps and helps Gable win gold—or maybe he explodes and protects the friends Gable’s been tormenting. This story’s personal now, and I genuinely have no clue how it’ll end.
💀 Unholy Union... Unholy Letdown?
I remember when these two dominated NXT, barely giving any other team room to breathe. Tonight? A total flop. Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn looked completely off their game, with zero chance against Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark. I was hyped... and they let me down hard.
Unless they deliberately tanked this match to hide their strategy for Clash at the Castle, I’m seriously worried. Yeah, they’ll get the Scottish crowd behind them, but hometown cheers don’t win titles. I don’t trust this “miracle” scenario—but hey, we’ll see.
🐺 Is Breakker Heading for Gold?
Back-to-back weeks, Bron Breakker took down Ricochet and Ilja Dragunov—two seriously tough fighters. And after the match, he made it clear: this guy means business. Destroying them in the parking lot wasn’t just about sending a message—it was about taking them off the board.
If you ask me, he’s clearly gunning for Sami Zayn’s Intercontinental Championship. He told Adam Pearce he’d break the champ, and after Clash at the Castle, whoever holds the title better be ready—because Breakker is coming.
🏴 It’s All in Drew’s Hands Now
After tonight’s match stipulation, it was all on Drew McIntyre to make sure Judgment Day would be banned from ringside at Clash at the Castle. And he pulled it off—barely. Finn Bálor had backup and could’ve pulled a fast one, but Drew delivered and got the clean match he asked for.
Now it’s simple: if Drew loses in Glasgow, it’s all on him. No more excuses. And here’s the thing... next week, Raw’s in Chicago. And who lives in Chicago? One man who’s been living rent-free in Drew’s head—CM Punk. Judgment Day is banned... but Punk is not. He could easily show up and ruin Drew’s dream. Will he? We’ll find out soon.
This was the final red stop before Clash at the Castle, and we’re packing our bags for Glasgow. One last SmackDown remains before the big event, and I have no doubt it’ll be just as exciting. We’re all warmed up for the main event stretch.
See you soon, guys! 🔥
